XIX The Yellow Brick Road

ic_yellow_roadWhen this card appears in your reading, a burst of spiritual sunshine can enlighten your mind and warm your heart. Fill the dark caverns of your psyche with the white light of divine wisdom. Create a rainbow bridge of compassion and understanding over which you can travel to meet with your fellow pilgrims on the path of life.

Rise before dawn, walk to a nearby nature sanctuary, and re-experience the wonder of the day’s rebirth. Visit the ocean and absorb the splendor of the rising or setting Sun with its orange-reddish glow in the western sky.

Light a candle, meditate in an aura of peace, and send your healing thoughts and prayers it to humanity on a multicolored beam.

Realize that you, no matter what your flaws and challenges may be, are a light to the world.

XV The Big Bad Wolf

ic_bad_wolf 265x429

XV The Big Bad Wolf ~ Isha Lerner

When this card appears in your reading, embrace the fears, doubts, and unintegrated aspects of your psyche with open arms. Let your light shine into the darker regions of your mind. Accept yourself as a blending of higher and lower selves, a union of spiritual and material bodies. Call up your anger, jealousies, and antipathies, and transfigure them into joy, compassion, and understanding.

Where there is separation, sow harmony and togetherness. Where there is pain from mental anguish, offer heartfelt sensitivity and simple acts of kindness to friends and relatives. Reverse the pattern of lying to yourself and others. Learn to speak and live out the truth of your existence to the best our ability. ~ Isha Lerner

The Big Bad Wolf appears as today’s card. It is preparing us for the full moon on 2-22!   We are walking on our path, and then suddenly, out of the corner of our eye, the big bad wolf appears and attempts to frighten us. What hidden forces are stealing your joy? Are you avoiding seeing a truth about what is restricting you of your freedom? Are there hidden forces of negativity restraining you from achieving your full potential? The full moon will shine a light on these aspects of internal bondage.

What can be done to put “the devil” in his own place, and  so you can face your fears and carry on towards your goal?

In your heart, find a true vision of who you are, and cling to the power you have within to free yourself from any entanglement that holds you back.

Enjoy Life!

Weekly Oracle Reading by Doreen Virtue for April 13 to 19, 2015

This will be a powerful, pivotal, and intense week. The energy is now perfectly supportive of new projects based upon divinely guided ideas.

You are in a phase of completion, and are being promoted to a new level with a new divine assignment. You’re being pushed to move on. However, the ego is threatened by change, and so it may try to lower your self-confidence. Don’t buy into this fear, as it’s a waste of your time and energy, and it may have you miss-out on this golden opportunity time right now.

If you can stay positive and keep your confidence high (confidence in God working through you is a very healthy approach), then you will be receiving recognition and you’ll be celebrating this week.

For this week’s reading, Doreen is working with the Guardian Angel Oracle Cards this week.

Weekly Reading Jan. 19 to 25 2015

Dawn New BeginningsMonday and Tuesday: DAWN – New Beginnings

This is a time to say farewell to the old and honor the new by releasing any self-imposed constraints or resistance to the truth that you know. This is your chance to develop that project you have been thinking about, embark on that adventure you have dreamed of going on, and take risks in initiating what your intuitive self has been telling you to do. As this prospect becomes increasingly visible and real, doubts and uncertainties may arise. But rest assured—just as the dawn that inevitably turns into day, by heeding your inner guidance, you will succeed.

DNA Karma

Wednesday and Thursday: DNA – Karma

While the DNA that you inherited from your biological parents has a physical component, it also has a soul pattern that came together in the creation of “you.” You are predisposed to follow the karmic dictates of this patterning to some extent, yet as you evolve in your consciousness, you can make choices that shift and modify this ancestral design This is one of those times. You can feel the tug of your soul that is both ancient and karmic, yet you also recognize the persistent and loving communication from your Higher Self that contradicts the more familiar solutions before you. The choice is up to you.

River Movement

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: RIVER – Movement

Your resistance is hampering your ability to make a choice in this matter. Surrender to the movement of Life, be grateful, and you will see the signs along the shore and in the river itself that offer you clues about what direction your egoless Self is to be making. “Go with the flow” is more than a trite aphorism here. It is essential that you do so now. Breathe, relax, and you will know.

Taking a look at the cards for this week, the beginning and the ending show the Light eagerly leading us on! The sun is shining on a new day, and on our path ahead of us. We certainly have a bright day waiting for us, full of brilliant adventures!

The Dawn promises a fresh beginning encouraging us to create on a fresh start. Looking at the Karma/DNA card, we realize that many of us have had to find strength, courage and willpower let go of various situations that would have held us back from our climb up the mountain! Now that we have faced our fears or dramas, we can enjoy the sunrise! It is beckoning us to begin a new path. The new adventure begins in your heart so keep it pure and clean! What do you want to create? What new projects are you dreaming of?

Yes, we all have uncertainties, as we take that next step forward. As the book by Susan Jeffers encourages us, we “Feel the fear and do it anyways”.

Your special design is something that has been your destiny for many ages, a legacy from many ancestors! We have been making difficult choices, and modifying our decisions to continue raising our vibrations, and leaving the lower 3D road behind. We follow the loving and persistent guidance of our Higher Self, the flow of the River, which leads us towards Ascension, and away from the past that could keep us in its embrace.

Weekly Reading for Jan. 5 to 11, 2015

8 of CupsMonday and Tuesday ~ Eight of Cups

This card symbolizes the need to move on in your life. The need to move forward might be a physical relocation such as moving for a job or moving to a new home, or this may be an emotional shift. Either way, the message of the Eight of Cups should be honored. If your move is emotional, then set some healthy boundaries. Put the past behind you and go forward with determination to a better, happier, and healthier place. If you are physically moving, then go forward and enjoy the positive changes in your life.

10 of wands

Wednesday and Thursday ~ Ten of Wands

When the Ten of Wands appears in a reading, it is a heads-up that you have taken on too many things at the same time. Your routine and activities have become too much for you to man- age. While you may enjoy wearing many hats and having an active social life, currently you are feeling overwhelmed with the demands from work, family, and/or your coven members. The bundle of ten hawthorn wands in this particular card actually represents too much of a good thing. While your intentions may have been noble, there is an overabundance of creative energy, and you are being pulled in too many different directions. You will need to let something go. Set down some of those wands in order to complete your tasks and goals with grace. Learn to delegate in the business world, your personal life, and your coven or you will have trouble successfully completing your goals.

2 of Wand

Friday, Saturday and Sunday ~ Two of Wands

This card represents partial success. While others may think you hold the world in the palm of your hand, you may still feel like you are unsure of where to go next. Such scenarios occur when an unexpected promotion or career advancement leaves you feeling unsure of what to do next. There is a partial success, and you may feel like you are at the halfway point of your personal goals. There are choices and serious decisions to be made. But look around you—there is help, support, and advice from a mentor. Take their good advice, and enjoy this new business or career opportunity. Finally, this card can symbolize a successful business partnership.

Taking a look at the week as a whole, all of these people in the cards are releasing. They are all facing the other way! This message has been repeated for my readings lately. The Eight of Wands shows the girl walking away from past emotions, looking ahead towards the stars; perhaps she is dreaming of her hopes to fulfill her destiny. The Ten of Wands also reminds us to release, set down our burdens of added responsibilities that are hindering us from moving on our upward climb. And in the two of wands, the man looks out over the expanse, wondering what he will discover as he steps out of his comfort zone.

Have courage this week to walk away. Let the past stay in the past. It only adds to your burdens, and leaves you contemplating if you will ever move forward. Perhaps you need to make some plans, to let others take on some of your extra responsibilities. Once you release the past emotions, and the current responsibilities, you will be free to pursue your new adventures ~ where your heart really is aspiring to explore!

Five of Swords

When I wanted to name my blog a month ago, I randomly picked this card and it guided me to the words “A Place To Dock”. I had several posts online, but deleted them, due to considering privacy. However, I am led again to renew my interest in blogging. And, as I begin to put up my first post, I wanted to chose a card from Isha Lerner. And guess what!! Synchronicity shines again. No kidding!! I pulled this same very card, Five of Swords. So here it is. My first post, of round 2. ☺

Five of SwordsFive of Swords

In the Five of Swords, the river raft of the Four of Swords finds            a place to dock, and the fishing rod or sword is secured in the sand. The boy leaves the raft behind and begins to explore a variety of uncovered truths that are awaiting him. He gazes at a starfish, which reveals the potential of his creative mind.

In numerology, the number 5 is connected with freedom, adventure, and unexpected changes on the path of life. The seals on the shore symbolize the emergence of unseen life forces coming to the boy. His awareness is fresh as he discovers new ideas.

Most exciting is the realization that clarity is brilliantly emerging like the bright sun in the sky behind him. As you venture from your raft of the past, be aware of the truth and freedom that await you. Freedom misused can be confusing and chaotic.

Be thoughtful and discriminating as you gather resources and information. Know your boundaries-the lessons of the raft. Clarify your goals. The boy is on a slippery rock, and he must move carefully to stay surefooted.

Anticipate illuminating insights from places deep within you. This is a creative and purposeful time. Most importantly, focus your attention and thoughts.
